Guardian
Summary: The Guardian monitors live legal meetings remotely. In preparation for a live meeting, they research the case and gather information or terminology if necessary. The Guardian regularly interacts with attorneys and other proceeding participants and provides them technical assistance as needed. The Guardian shares exhibits as requested throughout the live meetings.
Responsibilities: Gather case information before live meetings. Greet all attendees in remote live meetings. Troubleshoot with participants as needed. Monitor live meetings and interject when necessary. Label speakers in real-time. Share exhibits per attorney requests. Ask attorneys for orders or confirm orders at the end of live meetings.
Requirements: Strong customer service skills. Strong verbal communication skills. Familiarity with Zoom. Court reporting knowledge and/or experience.

Scopists/Transcribers
Summary: The scopist/transcriber creates accurate written versions of audio and video recordings, reviews and edits transcriptions done by speech recognition software, and identifies errors and inconsistencies.
Responsibilities: Understand and address client specifications and feedback. Arrive on time for scheduled meetings and court proceedings. Keep abreast of transcription software updates and attend refresher workshops as required. Communicate with the client or a supervisor when there are issues. Keep typing skills sharp by completing regular typing drills.
Requirements: The position requires discipline and excellent listening skills, as well as superb reading and editing skills and the ability to focus for long periods of time. You must have a good typing speed and excellent attention to detail, and be able to keep all sensitive information confidential. Additionally, ideal candidates: have experience with legal transcription or similar work in insurance; can type at least 70 words per minute; have at least two years of transcription experience; have the ability to focus for long periods of time; have excellent reading skills.
A Scopist must provide an uninterrupted environment and focus 100% on the deposition. There will be flexibility with breaks and lunches, however, your responsibility as a live scopist is to provide a seamless transcript in near time for lawyers which requires uninterrupted focus. If an emergency arises, your Production Coordinator will work to provide coverage, however, it’s your responsibility to provide an estimate of the length of time you will be away so that appropriate coverage can be found.

Readback Production Coordinator
Summary: The Readback Production Coordinator handles scheduling, monitors document quality, turn-around-time, & document production, and performs other duties as needed. This position reports to an Account Manager and requires direct contact with clients via telephone and electronic communication over numerous programs including email.
Responsibilities: Key aspects of the role include: meeting and exceeding client expectations by managing live legal meeting schedules and monitoring quality, timeliness, and transcription team performance; building and maintaining positive relationships with customers, peers, transcriptionists, and company leadership; mastering InfraWare Live Meeting Management Console functions; being innovative with your work; completing daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required.
Requirements: Must be comfortable communicating with fellow employees in a courteous and professional manner when follow-up is warranted. Must deliver feedback in a positive and nurturing manner and maintain ongoing communication with Account Management and QA when necessary. Must be able to change gears at a moment’s notice as priorities could change rapidly. Must have extraordinary attention to detail, ability to multitask, and be able to focus on the task at hand. Required skills include: ability to work to a deadline, ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously, excellent communication and writing skills, strong decision-making abilities, adaptability & receptiveness to change.
